With over 30 different individuals and projects to which we contribute, New Testament Christian Center is a church that greatly supports missions. Pastor Mitchell has asked that we focus even more on missions giving this year. In order to get started on the right foot for 2009 the church will be hosting a Special Missions Sunday on January 25th at 10:00 am. Rev. Joe Patterson, senior pastor of Apostolic Faith UPC in Dothan and the Alabama Foreign Missions Director, will be speaking during that service. He will be speaking on the importance of supporting a missionary, the faith promise program, and how through our giving we can reap spiritual benefits. After the service, we will adjourn to the fellowship hall for a time of food and fellowship together. Bro Dean and Sis. Leeann Smith will cook the meal and all will have a great time. We ask that you invite all your family and friends to hear what God is doing around the world and in the state of Alabama, and how by committing yourself to God’s work he can supply the needs in your life. We are expecting a great crowd for this event. Don’t miss it! There will be no PM service that evening.
